Community Involvement
As a foundation for operating, Small Concept looks for ways to give back to the Community. We are proud to support one of our metro-Atlanta Boys & Girls Club organizations by giving a portion of our proceeds to a local Club for advancing their very important mission.

Do you want to make a difference by getting involved or donating to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta? http://www.bgcma.org/donate.asp

And if you’d like to donate to the national organization -- Boys & Girls Club of America, or find a local Club near you, http://www.bgca.org/donate/

Here is a summary of what the local Clubs are all about:

What are Boys & Girls Clubs?
Clubs are community-based organizations that provide young people with a fun, safe and constructive after-school environment. Clubs offer programs and services designed to build character and strengthen life skills.

Who do Clubs serve?
Boys & Girls Clubs are open to all youth ages 6-18 and have a special focus on children and teens from challenging or disadvantaged circumstances. Clubs reach out to children who need them most… providing support, guidance and hope for the future. Clubs also keep dues low and do not turn kids away because of an inability to pay.

Where are Clubs located?
Clubs are in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Many Clubs are actual physical buildings designed especially for kids, with their needs and interests in mind. Other Clubs are located in a variety of settings – including public housing, U.S. military bases around the world, schools and Native American lands – to provide as many youth as possible with carefully designed Club programming tailored to local needs.

What makes Clubs unique?
Neighborhood-centered Clubs provide a safe, fun and easy place to access, with programming in sports and physical activities, character development, educational enhancement and career exploration. Clubs are staffed by paid, trained youth development professionals and local volunteers. Through a system of informal guidance, Club professionals form strong bonds with young people and guide them to make smart choices in life. For many Club members, Club professionals are the most influential and positive adult role models in their lives.

For all of these reasons and more, Boys & Girls Clubs are truly “The Positive Place for Kids.”
